Level: Easy
The list journaling technique is probably the easiest and most under used.
When to use this method: when you're feeling irritable, uneasy, overwhelmed and/or heavy while not knowing why. Sometimes we are short on time and energy and just getting through the day.
Take time to brainstorm what is on your heart. This may be from your day, week, year, even decade. A decade?
Yes, there is no time limit on situations that cause distress just because you buried it does not mean it is dead. Start from the most recent and work backward (or no particular order, it is your journal). It helps to go as fast as possible.
Reflection: From a third party perspective: How heavy was this load? Just because you carry it well doesn't mean it's mean it’s not heavy, This load has been carrying includes all the emotions, positively or negatively charged, the thoughts and sometimes even senses of these situations. Allow any and all emotions to surface and release.
